If you could travel back in time, which era would you visit and why?
I'm a sucker for the Middle Ages, lack of hygiene and all. I'd just like to see what it would be like to be a medieval person, and have a reason to wear a sword (oh, I'd totally do the disguise bit and learn swordfighting). It's the simplicity of the time, I think. There needs to be more of a reason to know archery, blacksmithing, actual sewing...I'm sure I'd hate it after a while, but it would be fun.
I'd be happy for the 1600s too...France, with the Musketeers, or with pirates. Oh yes, I would be a female pirate. As long as we were only liberating ill-won spoils from the other guys.
What are your top 10 most-played songs currently?
2. One Day, PotC: AWE soundtrack
3. I Don't Think Now Is The Best Time, (see above)
4. Up Is Down, (see above)
5. Strong Enough To Break, Hanson
6. Makes Me Wonder, Maroon 5
7. Can't Stop The World, Gavin Rossdale
8. From Yesterday, 30 Seconds to Mars
9. Signal Fire, Snow Patrol
10. Little Wonders, Rob Thomas
There was about a week and a half before and after the Pirates 3 premiere when I listened to nothing but the soundtrack. Before work, on repeat on the iPod at work, after work on the ride home, at home in lieu of tv, since it's all reruns now. It's very good, combining the best of the first two soundtracks and adding some beautiful new themes. However silly it may seem, I'm back into Hanson. I'm waiting for their next cd to come out, which it should sometime this summer. The Maroon 5 song I'm not sure about, but it's fun to belt out on a hot summer's day. Can't Stop The World is the theme for the short-lived Fox show Drive, which I liked but Fox canned after 4 eps. Silly Fox. I'm behind in the times in finding 30 Seconds to Mars, sue me. Signal Fire might have been the best part of Spider-Man 3. And Little Wonders...it's got a great piano line and a rather deep thought behind it, and it's fun to sing. All hail to summer.
