Would you go on vacation by yourself, and if so where would you go?

I would go on vaca myself, and in fact have thought about it alot. However, there's that annoying problem of the single supplement, which shoves things that are already expensive into the absurdly expensive category. If I had the money, I'd go.
I'd probably try to do a group adventure trip, somewhere in the States first. Something like Outward Bound, or Contiki. If I really felt like giving up the $$$, I'd try Geographic Expeditions. Colorado, Maine, Michigan, Arizona, New Mexico...maybe Washington or California. I want to go to Canada, too, though that's obviously a long way away, since you need a passport now, and those are taking horribly long times to get to their requesters...
If it wasn't North America, I'd like to go back to France, visit England/Scotland/Ireland, Spain, and Italy. I really want to go to China for the Olympics, but I doubt that will happen. I'd also like to visit the Philippines, Australia, and New Zealand.
